Why I – Fell in Love with Tom
Well, I use to believe love at first sight was impossible but, then I met Tom. The minute I saw Tom on the train I couldn’t get enough of him. Love is affection, devotion, passion, desire, warmth, and respect. Falling in love can be one of the most unexplainable feelings a person can endure. My love for Tom I simply couldn’t put into words, it was such a deep feeling that made me feel safe. Tom had everything I wanted and more. The money, fame, looks, you name it, Tom had it. My whole life I wanted to be somebody, I just wanted to be known. Although Tom had a wife, our love for each other was too strong to keep us a secret. When Tom introduced me to his cousin-in-law, I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it. Tom wasn’t scared to show me off in front of his family given the circumstances. Tom even made the efforts to come to my house and pretend to be interested in my pathetic husband's work just to talk to me. Anything I asked Tom to do, he did. I wanted to live with him, he bought us an apartment in New York. I told Tom a dog that we passed was cute, he bought it right away. Tom was willing to do anything to make me happy and that’s something George never did. I needed a man who could provide for me and that’s what Tom did. I know it may seem like I was just another one of Tom’s affairs but I’m not. Tom promised me a future with him as soon as he gets rid of Daisy.
I enjoy having the company of another woman in my life. The same old day in day out in a large home just with Daisy wasn't enough for me. I found Myrtle on the train, and since that moment I knew she would be a good second partner for me to have. This affair though cannot go to huge public terms. Id highly prefer if this relationship could remain relatively private for Daisy and Mr. Wilsons stake. -Tom
